Purpose: Naloxone is a medication indicated for reversal of opioid-related overdose event.

As a Naloxone entity, Ready Habits provides “Naloxone Rescue Kits” to those who meet Indiana criteria.

A Naloxone Rescue Kit contains an overdose intervention drug, components needed to administer the drug, and a quick guide of opioid overdose symptoms and assembly instructions.

To obtain a kit from Ready Habits, participants must complete a substance use education and training on drug overdose response and treatment.

All participants must agree to call 9-1-1 immediately before or after the administration of the drug.

Ready Habits encourages substance use treatment and provides information about local treatment resources.
